The James and Valerie Leonard Foundation, established on July 26, 2024, in Middle River, MD, is a beacon of hope for underprivileged children. Our mission is to empower these young minds, ensuring they have the resources and support needed to excel in education and personal development.

Bio of Late Parent’s of
Founder Anthony J. Leonard
Were both ardent advocates for education and actively participated in their community. Both individuals were products of Baltimore City Public Schools, Patterson High School, and Polytechnical Institute, Baltimore, Maryland, respectively. Additionally, Mrs. Leonard pursued classes at Morgan State University. Mr. and Mrs. Leonard held strong Christian beliefs and championed the empowerment of children and communities. Causes that deeply resonated with them included domestic violence, drug addiction recovery, and the nurturing of families and communities.
James Leonard was renowned for his unwavering dedication to mentoring young people, providing guidance and support to assist them in achieving their educational and personal aspirations. He held the conviction that hard work possessed the transformative power to reshape lives and worked diligently to create opportunities for his family. Professionally, James had a career as a trade worker. His expertise and unwavering commitment to excellence earned him numerous accolades from his colleagues. His commitment extended beyond education, as he was actively involved in various community initiatives.
Valerie Leonard was a compassionate and nurturing individual who dedicated her life to supporting those in need. She was a strong advocate for women’s rights and collaborated closely with organizations that provided resources and assistance to victims of domestic violence. Valerie’s unwavering dedication to helping others was evident in her volunteer work at local shelters and her involvement in programs aimed at rehabilitating individuals struggling with addiction. Professionally, Valerie had a successful career as an IT professional. Valerie’s warm and caring nature left an enduring impression on everyone she encountered.
